MSI Wind U100

Micro-Star announced the first two Wind-branded ultraportables laptops: the $499 MSI Wind U100-Windows and the Wind U100-Linux for $399.

Sony VIA-based low-cost laptop

Sony announced a low-cost ultraportable laptop based on the VIA OpenBook design. A prototype model of the Sony’s laptop was shown at WiMax Expo in Taipei.
