MSI has unveiled its new netbooks, called Wind U123 series and featuring a 10-inch display and Intel’s Atom N280 1.66GHz CPU.

The first three models are the U123, U123H and U123T, all based on the Intel 945GSE chipset. The netbooks come with 1GB of DDR2 RAM, up to 160GB of hard drive space, and a 3- or 6-cell battery. The LED backlight display has a resolution of 1024×600 pixels.

The U123 and the U123H with 3.5G HSDPA mobile broadband support have three USB ports. The U123T has two USBs, but includes a built-in TV tuner.

The netbooks weigh around 2.2 pounds. The U123 has “sharper lines and more stylish new colors like the pearl white, dolphin gray, midnight blue and silver red favored by young professional office workers”.

The Wind U120 with a 10-inch display is now available on the US market. The Wind U120 is a MSI’s new netbook with a 1024 x 600 LED backlight screen and the Atom N270 CPU at 1.6GHz, the 2.23-pound MSI Wind U120-024US and U120-020US models include 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 6-cell battery, a 1.3-megapixel web camera, and Windows XP Home OS.

Don’t expect a built-in stereo speakers, Ethernet LAN, three USB ports, a 4-in-1 media card reader, and a VGA output. The Wind U120-024US sports an 802.11b/g wireless connection, while the U120-020US features 802.11b/g/n WiFi and a Bluetooth module.

The U120-024US and U120-020US price start at $379.99 and $469.99 respectively.

MSI has unveiled its GX630-028US 15.4-inch gaming notebook.

The MSI GX630-028US features an AMD dual-core CPU, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT video, 4GB of DDR2 RAM, and a 250GB HDD, as well as a 2-megapixel web camera, HDMI output, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Its display has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels.

The MSI Turbo Drive Engine technology that allows to overclock the GX630, “increasing the speed of CPU performance by as much as 15% while in AC mode”.

There is no information on availability date. MSI GX630-028US will be selling for $799.99

MSI has developed three new gaming laptops – the GX400, GX630, and GT735.

The 14.1-inch GX400 and 15.4-inch GX630 are based on Intel’s Centrino 2 mobile platform and feature Core 2 Duo processors and the Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT video cards. The 17-inch GT735 is powered by AMD ‘Puma’ technology, Turion X2 Ultra CPUs, and the ATi Mobility Radeon HD3850 dedicated graphics card.

The new gaming laptops come with up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, up to 500GB of HDD, a DVD burner or Blu-Ray drive, built-in web camera, and HDMI output.
