Hewlett-Packard has renewed the Pavilion dv6t and Pavilion dv7t laptop series. The new models include Intel Core i3 and i5 processor options instead of older Core 2 Duo CPUs.

The 15.6-inch dv6t and 17.3-inch dv7t laptops may be equipped with the i3-330M, i3-350M, i5-430M, and i5-520M chips, as well as with the NVIDIA GeForce G 105M 512MB and GeForce GT 320M 1GB graphics cards. The dv6t can be ordered with the integrated GMA HD graphics only.

HP’s dv6t comes with up to 640GB of HDD space, whereas the dv7t provides up to 1.28TB of storage using two 640GB HDDs. The new HP’s laptops now support up to 8GB of DDR3 memory and feature DVD burners or Blu-ray, optionally built-in HDTV tuners and Windows 7 OS.

The HP Core i3/i5-based Pavilion dv6t and dv7t laptops start at $720 and $800, respectively.

Hewlett-Packard is ready to unveil the Pavilion dv8 notebook, the Pavilion dm1 and dm3 ultraportables laptops, and the Mini 311 netbook.

The HP Pavilion dv8 features one of Intel’s next generation quad core CPUs, the Core i7 720QM, and equipped with an 18.4-inch display. The Intel CULV-based dm1 and dm3 include Core 2 Duo ultra-low voltage chips and 11.6″ and 13.3″ screens respectively. Finally, the HP Mini 311 is built on NVIDIA Ion netbook platform. It has the Intel Atom N270 CPU and an 11.6-inch display.

All of the upcoming mobile mashines will runs under Windows 7 operating system.

HP has unveiled today its Pavilion dv2, a new ultraportable laptop.

The Pavilion dv2 is equipped with a 12.1-inch 1280×800 LED backlight display, the new AMD Athlon Neo MV40 CPU at 1.6GHz, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3410 discrete graphics, up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, and up to 500GB of hard drive storage space.

Measuring under 1-inch thick and starting at 3.8 pounds, the HP Pavilion dv2 has no built-in optical drive.

HP Pavilion dv2 also include a 92% of full-size keyboard, built-in web camera, 802.11n wireless, optional Bluetooth and Gobi mobile broadband connectivity, Ethernet LAN, HDMI and VGA outputs, three USB ports, and a 5-in-1 media card reader.

HP Pavilion dv2 is expected to hit the US market in April and priced at $699.

Second news from HP today. Hewlett-Packard launched today the HP Pavilion dv6t series. Its a first Pavilion-branded laptop with a 16-inch display.

The new screen has a movie-friendly 16:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1336×768 pixels. The HP Pavilion dv6t laptop equipped with a latest Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated or NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS 512MB dedicated graphics, up to 8GB of DDR2 memory, up to 500GB of hard drive space, and a DVD burner or Blu-ray optical drive.

HP Pavilion dv6t is a really new entertainment laptop, which featured a built-in web camera, Altec Lansing speakers with Dolby Home Theater technology, a HDTV Hybrid tuner (optionally), Wireless-G or Wireless-N connectivity, optional Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN, and a 56K modem option.

The Pavilion dv6t also has HDMI and VGA outputs, four USB ports (4th shared with eSATA port), an ExpressCard slot, 5-in-1 media card reader. The laptop weighs 6.93 pounds with a standard 6-cell battery.

Hewlett-Packard announced its new netbook, from HP Mini Mi series, a Linux-based version of the Mini 1000 netbook.

Mi lineup developed for Mobile internet. It’s a user-friendly interface built on Linux OS. The traditional Linux command line interface is disabled on this edition.

The 2.25-pound HP Mini Mi features a 8.9-inch (1024 x 600) or 10.1-inch (1024 x 576) display, a nearly full sized keyboard, the Intel Atom N270 processor at 1.6GHz, and up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM. Data storage choices include an 8GB or 16GB solid state drive, or a 60GB hard drive. In addition, models equipped with a solid-state drive feature a HP Mini Mobile Drive Bay that connects a separately sold HP Mini Mobile Drive (up to 8GB of extra storage).

The HP Mini Mi Netbook equipped with a Wireless-G Card, Bluetooth (as option), Ethernet LAN, two USB ports, SD/MMC media card reader, and an expansion port that connects the device to an optional docking device or expansion product.

The HP Mini Mi netbook starts at $329.

First news in 2009 New Year! Hewlett-Packard is announced plans to release the HP Pavilion dv3z 13.3-inch laptop with AMD’s processors.

The HP Pavilion dv3z will arrive with the AMD Turion, Turion Ultra, or Athlon dual core CPUs, and will includes the ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics on the board. The dv3z notebook supports up to 8GB of DDR2 memory, and HDDs and solid state drives with SATA interface. The display resolution is a 1280×800 pixels.

HP Pavilion dv3z will arrive with a web camera, stereo speakers, HDMI and VGA outputs, 802.11n wireless connection, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, two USB ports, an ExpressCard slot, 5-in-1 media card reader, eSATA port, and fingerprint reader (as option).

The Pavilion dv3z weighs only four pounds and runs Windows Vista.

Hewlett-Packard unveiled its new Tablet PC called Pavilion tx2z (TouchSmart tx2). Its a first company’s model with a multi-touch display.

The 12.1-inch Pavilion tx2z recognizes multitouch input using “capacitive multi-touch technology”. It enables the use of gestures such as pinch, rotate, arc, flick, press and drag, and single and double tap. The Pavilion tx2z supports digital pen input also.

The Pavilion tx2z is configurable with AMD’s Turion X2 or Turion X2 Ultra dual-core mobile processors, up to 8GB of DDR2 system memory, up to 400GB of hard drive space, and a DVD burner. The display uses LED backlight and has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. It is managed by the ATI Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics.

The Pavilion tx2z also includes a built-in web camera, optional fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, wireless G or N card, optional Bluetooth, an Ethernet LAN port, 56K modem, three USB ports, an ExpressCard slot, and 5-in-1 media card reader.

Price for HP Pavilion tx2z starts at 1,149.99.

The Pavilion dv4z is based on the AMD “Puma” mobile platform and includes AMD Athlon X2, Turion X2, and Turion X2 Ultra mobile processors, as well as the ATI Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics chip. The laptop supports up to 4GB of DDR2 system memory. It comes with up to 320GB of HDD, a DVD burner or optional Blu-Ray Combo optical drive, and embedded Altec Lansing stereo speakers.

The dv4z provides 802.11 wireless, 56k modem, and Bluetooth options, and Ethernet LAN connection.

The dv4z equipped with three USBs (3rd shared with an eSATA port), ExpressCard, and HDMI output and weighs around 4.8 pounds.

Hewlett-Packard today report that its new 12.1-inch ultraportable laptop is now available. The HP Compaq 2230s is a notebook for business users, based on the Intel Centrino 2 mobile platform.

The HP Compaq 2230s uses the latest Core 2 Duo 45-nanometer processors, but is also offered with Celeron CPUs. The laptop supports up to 8GB of DDR2 memory and comes with up to 320GB of hard drive capacity and a built-in DVD, Combo, or DVD burner optical drive.

Its display has a resolution of 1280-by-800 pixels and is managed by the Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics.

The HP Compaq 2230s equipped with a built-in fingerprint reader, HDMI and VGA outputs, and three USB ports, as well as ExpressCard and Secure Digital slots.

Price starts at $999.

Hewlett-Packard today unveiled the HP 550 15.4-inch business laptop. The 550’s featuring Intel’s budget mobile processors, such as lower-end Core 2 Duos and Celerons.

The 550 equipped with a Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics, up to 4GB of memory, up to 250GB of hard drive storage, a Combo optical drive or DVD burner, and a screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels.

The HP 550 laptop includes 802.11 wireless with optional suppor for draft-n WiFi standard in select models. There are also, Ethernet LAN, a 56k modem, optional Bluetooth, three USB ports, an ExpressCard slot, and VGA output.

The new notebook weighs 5.5 pounds and runs Windows Vista operating system.
