Fujitsu sad that they ready to start manufacturing their new LifeBook series laptops. Lifebook P8110 laptop gets a 12.1-inch screen and only has 1.38kg that will keep your runtime (as Futjitsu promise) for up to 7 hours. Fujitsu LifeBook P8110 equipped with a special ECO button that will extend battery life up to 10.5 hours. So What is ECO button? ECO button is instant switch to change LifeBook P8110 for low consumption when you’re running light application such as playing favourite songs or even internet surving.

There is no word about pricing.

The Fujitsu M2010 features a 10.1-inch 1024×576 LED display, the Intel Atom N270 processor at 1.6GHz, the 945GSE chipset, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD with Windows XP Home, and a 3-cell battery for up to 2.5 hours of battery life or a 6-cell unit for up to 5 hours.

The M2010 price start at $449.

Phoenix Technologies has announced it is working with Fujitsu to enable remote disk control and disk data protection for laptops equipped with Fujitsu’s new full disk encryption (FDE) 2.5″ 7,200rpm SATA hard disk drives.

With Phoenix FailSafe technology, the laptop owner can remotely disable the Fujitsu FDE drive in the laptop, thus ensuring “failsafe” protection against data theft and personal information loss.

Phoenix FailSafe also provides the ability to locate/recover missing laptops and lost data as well as remotely ‘kill’ sensitive data or the device to avoid potential misuse.

Fujitsu announced its new a world’s first 320GB 7200rpm laptop HDD. The 3Gbps SATA-equipped MHZ2 BJ series measures in at a standard 9.5-mm and spins at 7,200rpm with a 16MB cache and 25dB idle noise level. Average seek times are listed at 10.5-ms for data reads and 12.5-ms for writes while drawing 2.3 watts of power. Sales of the new Fujitsu MHZ2 BJ-series begins in June.

Fujitsu has announced its new series of MHZ2 BT 2.5″ hard disk drives with capacity of up to 500 GB. Sales will begin at the end of May 2008.

As an environmentally friendly product, Fujitsu MHZ2 BT use 1.8 W for read and write operations, ranking them among the most power-efficient 2.5″ HDDs in the industry. They are also manufactured in compliance with the EU’s RoHS Directive, which limits the use of hazardous substances.

In addition, the series also supports the Serial ATA 3.0 Gb/s interface for high-speed data transfers.

Fujitsu launched its premium ultra-portable range of laptops, including the world’s smallest tablet-convertible notebook.

All models are manufactured in Japan and come with a three-year warranty. The new models introduced in the India market include the world’s smallest tablet-convertible PC ‘LifeBook U1010’ (first 3.5G-enabled laptop in India) that weighs 0.63 kg and is enabled with mobile broadband and provides palm sized connectivity to travellers. It is priced at Rs. 85,000 for 3.5G-enabled and Rs.74,990. With a 14.1″ wide screen, the premium LifeBook S6510 (3.5G) is a mere 5.6mm wide.

The new LifeBook P8010 will be produced with a 12.1-inch WXGA display, up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM, an 80GB SATA hard drive, Intel’s SL7100 VL processor, a GMA GS965 integrated graphics set, audio in / out, gigabit Ethernet, WiFi and optional Bluetooth. Furthermore, PC Card / SD slots, VGA out, a trio of USB 2.0 connectors, 4-pin FireWire, a 56k modem, docking port and an optional 1.3-megapixel camera. The Fujitsu LifeBook P8010 weighs 2.69-pounds with a battery installed.
