Asus has released the Eee PC Flare netbook design which is successor of the Seashell look. Now the Eee PC Flare models have chiclet-style keyboards and provide various color choices. Display sizes of the Flare netbooks vary between 10.1 and 12.1 inches. Although we didn’t know that the recently leaked AMD-based Asus Eee PC 1225, Intel-based 1025 and X101 were Flare, their images suggest that they belong to the new design line.

Asus’ Flare netbooks are expected to be showcased on the 2012 CES show and to hit the market soon after that.

Full specifications of the Asus Eee PC Slider SL101 Android tablet with a physical slide-out keyboard have been published today. The Asus Eee Slider SL101 runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS on a 10.1-inch multi-tiouch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. The keyboard is QWERTY with isle style keys, but with no trackpad.

Tegra’s dual-core CPU is clocked at 1.2GHz and is accompanied by 1GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal Flash memory storage. The included 25Wh Li-Polymer battery in the 0.68-inch thin 2.1-pound tablet provides up to 8 hours of run time.

The SL101 weighs 2.1 pounds. It equipped with Wi-Fi card, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, USB 2.0 and mini HDMI ports, Micro SD card reader, G-sensor. Its front camera has a 1.2-megapixel sensor, while the rear cam, actually located on the lid of the keyboard, is 5MP.

Asustek has revealed details of the updated version of the 14-inch Asus U43SD, which now includes 2nd Gen Intel “Sandy Bridge” processors.

The Asus U43SD sports a brown bamboo exterior with brushed aluminum parts and equipped with a Intel Core i5-2410M or i3-2310M processor and Nvidia’s Optimus switchable graphics solution which utilizes both the 1GB GeForce GT 520M dedicated video card and Intel GMA HD integrated graphics. Other components also upgraded: are DDR3 memory – up to 8GB, a HDD with up to 750GB of storage space, a DVD writer, and an 8-cell battery for “up to 10 hours” of autonomy.

Regarding the 14″ display, it has a resolution of 1366-by-768 pixels and LED backlighting.

Other notable features of the 4.7-pound U43SD are a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and USB 3.0 in select models, HDMI port, and a 4-in-1 media card reader.

The 10.1-inch Asus Eee PC 1015B and 12.1″ Eee PC 1215B AMD Fusion-based netbooks are available now.

The Asus Eee PC 1015B-MU17-BK model features the AMD C-30 1.2GHz APU, the AMD Radeon 6250 graphics, as well as 1GB of system memory, a 250GB hard drive, 1024 x 600 display resolution, a battery life of “up to 8.5 hours”, and Windows 7 Starter OS. The Asus Eee PC 1215B-PU17-BK has the dual-core AMD E-350 1.6GHz chip with the Radeon HD 6310, 2GB RAM, a 320GB HDD, 1366 x 768 screen, “up to 8 hours” of battery life, and Windows 7 Home Premium.

The Eee PC 1015B-MU17-BK is priced at $289.99 (Newegg), while the 1215B-PU17-BK is priced at $449.99.

The Asus N53JF laptop is now available in the US. The new model equipped with a 15.6-inch full HD display, Nvidia graphics, and an advanced sound system. The Asus N53JF-XE1 laptop, featuring the Intel Core i5 460M 2.53GHz processor, the Nvidia GeForce GT 425M 1GB dedicated video card, 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB HDD, a Blu-ray combo, and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

The LED-backlight display of the N53JF-XE1 has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels (1080p), which is uncommon for a 15.6-incher, since they mostly have 1366×768.

Finally, this high-class multimedia notebook has a built-in 2MP web camera, wireless N and Ethernet LAN connections, a single USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA connector, HDMI and VGA outputs, and a 5-in-1 media card reader.

The new gaming laptop weighs 6.4 pounds with its 6-cell battery. It’s currently priced at $999.99 at Newegg.

Asustek has released the ASUS-Lamborghini Eee PC VX6 12.1-inch laptop. The new ultraportable notebook featuring a dual-core Atom CPU, switchable graphics, and a look co-designed by car maker Lamborghini.

The VX6 laptop comes with the Intel Atom D525 1.83GHz dual-core CPU, as well as with Nvidia Optimus switchable GPU technology that combines the Nvidia ION 2 dedicated GPU for more 3D gaming power and Intel’s integrated graphics for a longer battery life. The VX6 laptop also supports full HD 1080p video playback on an external display via HDMI (internal display has a 720p resolution).

Asustek’s stylish ultraportable laptop has a black or white glossy exterior also features USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 3.0 technologies, and the Express Gate instant-on OS besides Windows 7 Home Premium.

The ASUS-Lamborghini Eee PC VX6 is available now in the UK for £499 (around $800 USD). There’s no word yet on availability in other countries.

The bottom line: At $799, the UL30A is a compelling value.”

Asustek’s new 15.6-inch laptop – the Asus UL50 – is now available on the US market.

You can order a new laptop from Amazon website. Amazon offers the black UL50Ag-A1 laptop, equipped with the Intel SU7300 ultra-low voltage CPU at 1.3GHz, the GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, 4GB of DDR2 memory, a 320GB hard drive with Windows Vista Home Premium pre-installed, a DVD burner, and a claimed battery life of 11 hours. Its 15.6″ glare-type LED backlight display has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.

The Asus UL50Ag includes stereo speakers, a 0.3MP web camera, HDMI and VGA outputs, 802.11b/g/n wireless, a Gigabit LAN port, three USB ports, and a 5-in-1 media card reader.

The UL50Ag-A1 laptop is priced at $799.99.

Asustek has unveiled its M60J 16-inch entertainment laptop, based on the newest Intel Core i7 Mobile CPU.

The M60J laptop features the Intel Core i7 720QM 1.6GHz or 820QM 1.73GHz CPU, the NVIDIA GeForce GT240M 1GB dedicated video, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 1TB of HDD (using up to two HDDs), and a DVD burner or Blu-ray combo drive.

The Asus M60J laptop’s display has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.

The Asus M60J also sports a 2MP web camera, stereo speakers, 802.11n wireless, a LAN port, HDMI and VGA outputs, four USB ports, an eSATA port, an ExpressCard slot, a 4-in-1 media card reader, and a fingerprint reader.

The M60J runs Windows Vista OS.

No word on pricing or availability date yet.

The company is also expected to release the 16-inch G60J and 15.6-inch G51J gaming laptops, both with the Intel Core i7 CPUs.

The new Asus 16-inch F50SV-X1, a laptop with the GeForce GT 120M video card, is now available.

The Asus F50SV-X1 comes with the Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 processor at 2GHz, 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive with Windows Vista Home Premium installed, and a DVD burner. The GT 120M dedicated GPU that includes 1GB of video memory and 32 processing cores, LCD screen resolution is 1366 x 768.

The Asus F50SV-X1 is priced at $799.
