Acer has unveiled its new consumer laptops – Aspire 8935, 5935, and 3935, featuring 18.4-, 15.6-, and 13.3-inch 16:9 displays respectively.
The 8935 is an 18.4-inch model, the 5935 15.6-inches and the inch-thick 3935 a “golden-brown” 13.3-incher, all with 16:9 aspect ratio CineCrystal displays.

Acer low-cost laptops
Acer plan to develope low-cost laptops in 7- and 9- inches form factor. They will be priced around the $470 mark and are expected in the third quarter.
Acer said the new laptops would not cannibalise its current business, as such models were aimed at low penetration markets such as PCs for children and developing market.
