Acer low-cost laptops
Acer plan to develope low-cost laptops in 7- and 9- inches form factor. They will be priced around the $470 mark and are expected in the third quarter.
Acer said the new laptops would not cannibalise its current business, as such models were aimed at low penetration markets such as PCs for children and developing market.
