A lot is being made of the Samsung Galaxy Tab but I’m struggling to see why I’d buy one instead of an Apple iPad?

i doesn’t appear to do anything more or better than an iPad (and not being an iPad the assumption is that it won’t have the volume of apps available or the quality of user experience), and the price isn’t significantly different.

I think manufacturers have mistaken a lot of people being willing to buy an iPad with a lot of people wanting to buy a tablet PC. I guess Christmas sales will show which it is.
