Dell XPS M1730 with GeForce 8800M GTX SLI Option
The Dell XPS M1730 gaming laptop is now equipment with the NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX SLI dual graphics card option.
Dell says the XPS M1730 with two GeForce 8800M GTX 512MB video cards earned a score of almost 13,500 in 3Dmark06 benchmark, which is about 49% performance gain over dual 8700M GT 512MB cards.
The basic XPS M1730 configuration with a pair of 8800M GTX GPUs is priced at $3,399. It costs $700 more than the same laptop with two 8700M GT cards. The new laptops with the 8800M GTX will arrive in February 20th.
The 17-inch Dell XPS M1730 also features the AGEIA PhysX 100M physics processor, the Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, and up to 640GB of storage space.
