Dell Launches Studio-Branded Laptops

Dell introduced the new line of laptops: Studio 15 and Studio 17 notebooks. The Studio 15 and Studio 17 have 15.4-inch and 17-inch displays.

“These laptops combine sleek designs, striking visual color elements and personalization options with features such as standard built-in webcam, capacitive touch media control buttons, slot load drives, and optional mercury-free LED displays and built-in mobile broadband,” Dell says.

The both of laptops are based on Intel’s Centrino mobile technology including 965GM/PM chipsets and Core 2 Duo processors. The new laptops supports up to 4GB of system memory.

The Dell Studio 15 comes with up to 320GB of hard drive space (640GB for Dell Studio 17, using two 320GB hard drives) and a slot-load DVD burner or Blu-Ray Combo.

It is equipped with a slot-load DVD burner or Blu-Ray Combo, depending on customer’s choice. Laptop’s 17″ widescreen display with glossy coating features two resolution options: 1440×900, with optional LED backlight, and 1920×1200. The display is managed by the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 integrated GPU or the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 256MB dedicated graphics.

The Studios laptops are available today on official Dell’s site starting at $799 (Studio 15) and $999 (Studio 17) and will be available at Best Buy and Staples stores late.
